tealmac UI has no CLI of its own. Everything goes through the shadcn CLI,
which you run with npx shadcn@latest (or pnpm dlx, yarn dlx,
bunx --bun). This page covers shadcn CLI 3.x.
Set up a project: writes components.json, the theme variables, lib/utils.ts
and installs the base dependencies.
pnpm dlx shadcn@latest init
Install one or more items by name, namespace or URL.
pnpm dlx shadcn@latest add https://ui.tealmac.com/r/marquee.json npx shadcn@latest add @tealmac/marquee @tealmac/globe
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
-y, --yes | Skip the confirmation prompt |
-o, --overwrite | Replace files that already exist |
-p, --path | Write the component to a different folder |
-c, --cwd | Run in another directory (useful in monorepos) |
-s, --silent | Hide output |
Print an item's JSON (files, dependencies, CSS variables) without installing.
pnpm dlx shadcn@latest view @tealmac/tag-input
List or search the items in one or more registries. Registry names need the
@ prefix and must be in components.json.
pnpm dlx shadcn@latest search @tealmac --query "text" --limit 20
Compare installed components with the registry. Without a name it lists components with updates; with a name it prints the changes.
pnpm dlx shadcn@latest diff npx shadcn@latest diff marquee
See Update components.
Print what the CLI knows about your project: framework, aliases, Tailwind version and registries.
pnpm dlx shadcn@latest info
Write the configuration for the shadcn MCP server into your editor. --client
accepts cursor, vscode, codex and opencode, among others.
pnpm dlx shadcn@latest mcp init --client cursor
For the hosted tealmac UI server instead, see Connect your agent.
Build a registry of your own from a registry.json. You only need this if
you publish components yourself.
pnpm dlx shadcn@latest build
