What is free and what is Pro?
Every component and chart is free and MIT-licensed, plus the blocks, templates and themes marked Free. Pro is one plan that adds the rest of the blocks and templates, the complete starter apps and the Pro themes, with full source.
How does an AI agent use the catalogue?
Point an MCP client at https://ui.tealmac.com/mcp. The agent can search items, read an item's props and rules, and get the exact install command. There is no account and no key for the free catalogue. Prefer files? Read https://ui.tealmac.com/llms.txt.
Do I own the code I install?
Yes. Items install into your project as plain source through the shadcn CLI. Nothing updates behind your back, and a diff shows what changed when you want a newer version.
What is a style pack, and what is a lens?
A style pack is a variant of a component with the same props and accessibility contract in a different visual language, installed as its own registry item. A lens on this page is a CSS-only preview of another look; it is not a shipped pack and is labelled that way.
How is Pro licensed?
One payment, a licence key, lifetime updates for items added later, and unlimited personal and client projects. The full terms are on the Pro licence page.
Is it accessible?
Each component is built to WAI-ARIA patterns with keyboard support and a reduced-motion path, and the Quality page shows the measured numbers from the source on every build. Run your own checks on what you ship; a component cannot guarantee the page around it.
