The value is a typed object: period (day, month, quarter, half-year, year), operator (is, before, after, between) and the matching date fields. formatDateValue(value) turns it into text. Every string can be replaced through the i18n prop.

The props are typed, and each part accepts the usual attributes of the element it renders.
Built on the calendar primitive with a labelled input, tabs for the period and buttons for each choice, so it works with the keyboard alone. Day cells are named with their full date.
