Get ProA single-select combobox with a real input, type-to-filter, descriptions, disabled options, a clear button and form submission, built on the Base UI Combobox.
This item has no props to tune. Use the lens above to change theme, density, direction and more.
Use it when a person must choose one value from a list long enough that scrolling is slow (countries, frameworks, projects) and the chosen value should stay readable in the field. Use Select for five or fewer options and Autocomplete when free text is also allowed.

The input has the combobox role with aria-expanded, aria-controls and aria-activedescendant; the list is a listbox and options are options with aria-selected. Arrow keys move the highlight, Enter selects, Escape closes. The clear and show-options buttons have labels. Give the input an aria-label or a visible <label for>. Animations stop under prefers-reduced-motion.
