Get ProUse this when a carousel ships in more than one language: every control name, slide name and spoken announcement replaced from one table, with the page direction switched for right-to-left languages.
Derived from this item’s props table, because it declares no controls of its own. This item has no standalone playground, so changes update the code, the share link and the AI prompt.
Use it as the template for translating a carousel: the kit's words live in one labels object, and the arrow keys and icons flip for right-to-left.
Do not use it to translate your slide content. That is yours; this covers the words the carousel adds around it.

| Prop | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
locales | Record<string, Locale> | - | Per language: name, dir (ltr or rtl), label, labels (any of the kit's words) and slides. |
defaultLocale | string | first | The language that starts selected. |
The pattern ships with a Testing Library test (localised-carousel-labels.test.tsx). Embla needs layout to count snaps, and jsdom has none, so the repo's mockCarouselLayout helper gives the viewport and slides real sizes.
