Get ProUse this when a carousel has keyboard shortcuts worth telling people about: a Keyboard button that opens a popover listing the keys, also opened by pressing ? inside the carousel, closing with Escape back to its button.
Derived from this item’s props table, because it declares no controls of its own. This item has no standalone playground, so changes update the code, the share link and the AI prompt.
Use it on carousels people operate a lot (galleries, decks, media shelves) where the keys are not obvious.
Do not use it as the only way to learn a control. Every action must still have a visible button.

| Prop | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
items | CarouselItem[] | - | The slides: { id, label, content }. |
label | string | - | Accessible name of the carousel. |
shortcuts | Shortcut[] | defaults | Rows of { keys, action } shown in the popover. |
The pattern ships with a Testing Library test (keyboard-help-popover.test.tsx). Embla needs layout to count snaps, and jsdom has none, so the repo's mockCarouselLayout helper gives the viewport and slides real sizes.
