Get ProUse this when people choose how much to see at once: a one, two or three per view switch (native radios) that changes the card width of a peek carousel and keeps the dots and readout in step.
Derived from this item’s props table, because it declares no controls of its own. This item has no standalone playground, so changes update the code, the share link and the AI prompt.
Use it for galleries and shelves on large screens, where some people want fewer large cards and others want an overview.
Do not use it on phones, where one card at a time is the right answer. Hide the switch below a container width.

The pattern ships with a Testing Library test (density-switcher-carousel.test.tsx). Embla needs layout to count snaps, and jsdom has none, so the repo's mockCarouselLayout helper gives the viewport and slides real sizes.
