Get ProUse this when carousels sit in tabs: each carousel is built only while its tab is open, so it measures a real width, and the slide you were on in each tab is kept when you switch away and back.
Derived from this item’s props table, because it declares no controls of its own. This item has no standalone playground, so changes update the code, the share link and the AI prompt.
Use it for product pages and dashboards that put a gallery or a card row under each tab, so nothing is measured while hidden at zero width.
Do not use it when only one tab holds a carousel and you never switch away. Put the carousel in directly.

| Prop | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
tabs | TabbedCarousel[] | - | Each tab has an id, title, label for the carousel and slides ({ id, content }). |
defaultTab | string | first | The tab shown first. |
The pattern ships with a Testing Library test (carousel-inside-tabs-remember.test.tsx). Embla needs layout to count snaps, and jsdom has none, so the repo's mockCarouselLayout helper gives the viewport and slides real sizes.
