Props

TabsNumberShortcuts

Prop	Type	Default	Description
`tabs`	`{ value, label, content }[]`	-	The tabs; the first nine get number keys.

Accessibility

Each tab shows its number as text and exposes it with aria-keyshortcuts, so the shortcut is both visible and announced.
Digits are ignored in inputs, textareas, selects, editable areas, spin buttons and sliders, so typing a number never switches tabs.
Ctrl, Cmd and Alt combinations are ignored, so browser shortcuts like Ctrl+2 still work.

Keyboard

Key	Action
1 to 9	select that tab and move focus to it
ArrowLeft / ArrowRight	the usual tab navigation

Testing

The pattern ships a Testing Library test (tabs-number-shortcuts.test.tsx) that covers the visible numbers, selecting with focus, ignoring fields and out-of-range keys, and modifiers.
