Get ProA writing box with an actions menu opened by / at the start of a line or Ctrl+/ over a selection: actions that need selected text say so when it is missing, run with a busy state, replace the text and offer Undo. Use this when AI or text tools act on a selection.
Derived from this item’s props table, because it declares no controls of its own. This item has no standalone playground, so changes update the code, the share link and the AI prompt.
Use it in editors, notes and email composers with actions such as Rewrite, Shorten, Fix grammar and Summarise, where an action needs a selection, the whole text or nothing.
Do not use it when actions never depend on the content. Use a plain slash menu.
