Guide and examples

When to use it

Use this on lists with several filter groups where each change would otherwise reload results: the person sets up the whole filter and applies it once.

Do not use it for one or two filters, which belong inline above the list with instant results.

Accessibility

Each group is a fieldset with a legend, so screen readers announce the group with each checkbox.
The trigger's name carries the applied count ("Filters (2)"); Apply shows the draft count.
Radix sheet behaviour: focus is trapped, Escape closes, focus returns to the trigger.

Testing

The pattern ships a Testing Library test (sheet-filters-apply.test.tsx) that covers the count in the trigger name, applying only on Apply, discarding on Escape and resetting.
