Get ProA dialog with a folder-only tree that disables the current folder and, when moving a folder, its own subtree. Use this when people move items to a folder and an impossible target must be impossible to pick.
Derived from this item’s props table, because it declares no controls of its own. This item has no standalone playground, so changes update the code, the share link and the AI prompt.
Use it for 'Move to...' in file managers, document tools, mail folders and boards with nested lists.
Do not use it to copy to several places (use checkbox-tree), or when the list of folders is short and flat (use a select).

| Prop | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
folders | TreeNode[] | - | Folders only. |
currentFolderId | string | - | Not a valid target; its label gets '(current folder)'. |
movingFolderId | string | - | When moving a folder: it and its subfolders are disabled. |
itemLabel | string | - | What is moved, used in the title. |
onMove | (folderId) => void | - | Called with the target. |
aria-disabled and focusable, so a screen reader hears why they cannot be used (the current folder says so in its name).The pattern ships with a Testing Library test (move-to-folder-dialog.test.tsx) that covers disabled targets, the moved folder's subtree and the final move.
