Get ProA mention box that separates people already in the channel from those who are not, and lets you invite and mention a non-member in one step, inserting the mention only after the invitation succeeds. Use this when mentioning someone who cannot see the thread means adding them first.
Derived from this item’s props table, because it declares no controls of its own. This item has no standalone playground, so changes update the code, the share link and the AI prompt.
Use it in private channels, projects and documents, where a mention of an outsider would silently fail, so the box should say so and offer to bring them in.
Do not use it when everyone can see everything. Use a plain mention box.

Not in this channel and their options end with invite and mention.Inviting Alan…; on success the mention is inserted and Invited Alan is announced, on failure Could not invite Alan is announced and nothing is inserted.onInvite non-members are shown disabled with the reason. The pattern ships with a Testing Library test (mention-invite-non-member.test.tsx) that covers grouping, inserting a member, inviting then inserting and failure leaving the text alone.
