Education Entries with "Currently Here"

ProNew

Repeatable education or work history entries where ticking "I study here now" disables and clears the end date, dates are checked against each other, and entries sort newest first on request. Use this when a history list has an open-ended last item.

Props

entryProblem and sortNewestFirst are exported.

Accessibility

"I study here now" is a checkbox with a visible label; ticking it disables and clears the end date, and the date is not simply hidden, so the structure stays the same.
Date problems are alerts linked to the end input with aria-invalid; the native month picker gets a min from the start date.
Sorting is an explicit button instead of automatic reordering while people type, which would move the row they are editing.

The pattern ships with a Testing Library test (education-entries-current.test.tsx) that covers: its main behaviour, the keyboard path and the error or empty states.
