Get ProA sensitive change asks for the current password in the same dialog: a wrong password is shown on the password field (not as a vague banner), focus returns to it and clears it, and a lock-out message appears after repeated failures. Use this when a change needs re-authentication.
Derived from this item’s props table, because it declares no controls of its own. This item has no standalone playground, so changes update the code, the share link and the AI prompt.
Changing an email, password or 2FA setting should confirm the person is who they say they are.
Do not use it when: For low-risk changes (display name) skip re-authentication; it only trains people to type passwords everywhere.

aria-invalid and aria-describedby; focus moves to that field (the password for a wrong password, the email for a conflict), and a wrong password is cleared so it is never left in the field.autocomplete="current-password" and the email email, so password managers and autofill behave. The pattern ships with a Testing Library test (change-email-dialog-password.test.tsx) that covers: its main behaviour, the keyboard path and the error or empty states.
